About Alice Phoebe Lou

Alice Phoebe Lou (born July 19, 1993, in Kommetjie, Cape Town, South Africa) is an indie-pop/indie-folk singer-songwriter known for her honeyed vocals, intimate acoustic style, and roots in street busking in Berlin. Standout songs include “Witches,” “Only When I,” and “Dirty Mouth.” She’s also half of the side-project Strongboi. Her latest album, “Oblivion,” dropped October 24, 2025—her first fully self-produced LP. Early achievements: nominated Best Female Artist at Germany’s Preis für Popkultur in 2016, shortlisted for Best Original Song Oscar consideration for “She.”
